The Guardian-3000 Detection Kit contains portable state-of-the-art detection instruments for HazMat teams, emergency workers, Fire & Police units working in situations where radiological, gas or other risks may exist. The heart of the Guardian-3000 is the GammaRAE II, a sophisticated alarming radiation pager, dosimeter and detection device. This device alerts the user to radiation fields and tracks dose received by the user.
The Guardian-3000 pairs this device with a top-line Johnson
radiation meter containing a contamination probe as well as a
sensitive plastic scintillation detector for finding low-intensity
radiation sources. An
optional gas monitor and PID is available along with a sensitive
infrared thermometer for determining surface temperatures at a
distance.
